Sales Coordinator

Red Sun Farms is one of the largest fully vertically integrated, high-tech greenhouse growers in North America. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Sales Coordinator to join our Kingsville team. The Sales Coordinator, under the direction of the Vice President, of Sales & Business Development, will oversee and monitor daily orders for key Red Sun Farms accounts. This role will input all crucial data from the customer into our Company’s sales, planning, and operations system. This position will maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the Company in a positive manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Input and monitor daily sales orders for key accounts
  • Monitor customers’ web-based order system for updates, changes, and new orders
  • Update weekly pricing on customers’ web-based system
  • Ensure effective processing and assisting with customers’ orders until completed
  • Create purchase orders for procured product
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous manner and assist customers whenever appropriate
  • Compile and maintain sales analytics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues to ensure successful order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with the planning team to resolve customer order issues
  • Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete ad hoc reports
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in administration, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales or customer service
  • Experience in produce industry preferred
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Knowledge of Famous software is considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivation with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Possesses a solutions-based attitude, curious and has an analytical perspective
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


Working Conditions:

  • After hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
  • Occasional overtime
  • Extended periods of sitting
  • Light travel may be required
