Father's Day Grill Out!
We wish all dads, stepdads, grandfathers, godfathers, and father figures a very Happy Father’s Day!
It’s grill time! Whether you’re grilling for the whole gang or for a small gathering of family and friends, we have some great recipes you’ll want to try on your Father’s Day celebration. As we know that many of you will grill in 40-degree weather, and rain or snow, so these recipes will be perfect for you all year round!
Let’s start with steak and peppers on a stick. Steak Fajita Skewers combine the goodness of fresh veggies with sirloin steak and folded tortillas! Large bell peppers, along with chopped scallions, adding pop to the recipe (perfect for Father’s Day!), and the small flour tortillas are a great twist to the traditional steak skewer.
Grilled chicken can be quick, easy, and healthy! Delicious Chicken Paillards With Herb-Tomato Salad can be made in 15 minutes so you can enjoy more family time with those children and grandchildren. Paillard basically means the chicken is pounded thin, which makes it quicker to grill and more tender. Fresh tomatoes make the difference in the herb-tomato salad that is a must have as the tasty chicken topper.
Fresh vegetables are always a good choice for the grill. Whether you prepare them as a side dish or make them your main dish, grilled summer vegetables will be a big hit for your Father’s Day celebration. Grilled Summer Vegetable Salad with Herbed Vinaigrette combines the best of fresh tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and eggplant.
For something a little different, how about some grilled clams? Okay, the clams are actually prepared in a cast-iron skillet and then grilled but it still counts! In fact, Chile-Lime Clams with Tomatoes and Grilled Bread are an amazing way to enjoy grilled seafood with all its briny goodness. Sop it up with grilled toast drizzled in olive oil.
Nothing beats steak and tomatoes on the grill, unless you add some green beans and top it all with Chimichurri Sauce. Grape tomatoes, of course, are the key ingredient in Grilled Steak with Green Beans, Tomatoes and Chimichurri Sauce. Red wine vinegar and fresh herbs in the sauce bring it all together for a delicious Father’s Day meal for the whole family.
Enjoy your day and your Father’s Day grill out!
